Gal Reshef — Software Automation Lead

Gal Reshef is the Software Automation Lead at Play-Perfect, a Unity gaming startup, where he built the entire automation function from zero — infrastructure, self-hosted macOS runners, GitHub Actions and AltTester end-to-end testing driven from Python — with daily regression and progression suites that gate every build across three live games serving 400K+ players. He also drives AI adoption across engineering — authoring Claude Code skills and a BugBot-style review sub-agent that screens pull requests before human review, and wiring CI runs into Claude to surface bugs and auto-draft Jira tickets. He previously worked as a software engineer at Fortune 500 companies NetApp and Dell: React and TypeScript on NetApp BlueXP multi-cloud data operations (copy, dedup, replication, protection) and VMware to ONTAP TCO calculators, and Python at Dell automating server operating-system tests.

He is a multi-cloud engineer across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, shipped NetApp's cloud-native services on FSxN, ANF and GCNV, and holds 60+ GCP skill badges. Outside work he is an FAA commercial pilot, scuba diver and Honda Africa Twin off-road rider based in Israel.
